Staring out the Window...

....So, this morning, trying to get some firm footing on the flab 5 website, i'm staring out the window deep in thought, when, thru the rain and increasingly darker skies, comes a hummingbird, to the feeder!!!!!! With the forecast of snow at my level tonight, it's another reminder of just how strange things are out there in the weather world.....a hummingbird this early is mighty strange here......

i should be out kicking the pigeons...

comic books went up from a nickel to a dime to 12 cents to 15?
Mad magazine went up from 35 to 50 cents?
kids could walk or bike for whatever distance they had to go to find such treasures without having to wear helmets riding our bicycles; we could walk down any road any time of day without fear of nothing more than being late......
and a phone call was a special thing that happened rarely..if the party line wasn't tied up...

Now this would be Winter!!!

Austalian Mystery

...So..My (only) uncle died in California, and a person he knew claimed to have power of attorney, and took (allegedly) his ashes to Australia...seems cut and dried, except:
My uncle was a part of the elderly gay community in Palm Springs, Ca, and got cleaned out upon his death by someone who at the same time fleeced others down there to the tune of a half million or more, all in the name of a restaurant that was to be built...
Me, i could care less about anything other than the fact that my Uncle died in August, the "person in charge" didnt even bother to notify whats left of the immediate family, and we found out from an apartment manager that he had even died...smell a rat?...apparently so does the fbi and interpol...
Me, all i want is closure, and my uncles ashes, if they still exist...
...so...anyoner know anyone in Australia, queensland narrrows it down more, that might be willing to do just little legwork?????
...Any help is appreciated!
